Laurence Bede Dawson

Laurence Bede Dawson was the son of James and Lilly and born in 1924. He went to America in 1944 to train as a pilot with the Royal Air Force in Terrell, Texas returning in December to fly in the war. 

He married Stella Wylie from Ashington, Northumberland on 20th February 1954 after meeting her while they worked as Nurses at Rochford Hospital in Essex. They shared a wedding reception with his youngest sister Ann and Frank Faulkner.
